About Leica lens QC and Minolta · Заметки

Bob Shell писал недавно в Contax Mailing List:
I may have told this story before, but I'll tell it again.
Not long after Leica moved its production from Wetzlar to Solms, I was visiting them and they gave me a tour of their facilities. At one workstation an older man was testing zoom lenses that had just come in from Minolta. They were in a BIG crate, probably several hundred lenses. I think they were 35 to 70mm zooms. Anyway, I asked the man if it was true, as I had heard, that they rejected 75% of the lenses from Minolta.
He smiled knowingly and answered "Not from every batch."
Нельзя сказать, между тем, что Минольта была халтурной конторкой.
