Мой пост в группу Contax на contaxlist.com:
I heard a rumor that Sony has some deals with Minolta (developing DSLR together) and therefore quite likely will release its DSLR with Minolta bayonet. And probably Sony even could purchase Minolta's SLR department from Konica. NB: This is just a rumor, I didn't read anything like that on some official site! But, can anyone comment this? I wonder if Sony really could part with Zeiss glass in their cameras. It looks like Zeiss is a very important part of their marketing and their partnership looks very successful for both companies. But, if they get Minolta's developments, it's more logical for them to use Minolta mount which is newer than C/Y and more popular (and adaptable!) than N. Or could it be that they will made it Minolta but Zeiss will start making lenses for the mount, or they will release DSLR in 2 versions with different mounts? I could also expect that they will create their DSLR own mount - just because it's a Sony and they used to come to market with something new... %-/

It's not a rumour. Sony and KonicaMinolta have an agreement to co-develop DSLR's. From the July press release it says, "Taking full advantages of their respective imaging technologies and key devices, the two companies will develop and commercialize new digital SLR cameras based on and compatible to “Maxxum/Dynax lens mount system." Full press release here: http://konicaminolta.com/releases/2005/0719_01_01.html
Will Zeiss enter this arrangement for lenses, will Sony develop a Contax as high-end KonicaMinolta variant? I sincerely doubt it on both accounts. Will there be Sony and KonicaMinolta variants of the same DSLR? Possibly -- but I think it would be highly doubtful that they would create their own lens mount. I think it would be a tough sell.
Bob Shell:
Someone at Minolta that I have known for many years told me about it a couple of weeks ago. He said they will work together on a premium line of DSLR cameras, "the Lexus of cameras" to use his words.
Would I be surprised to see this lead to Zeiss lenses in Maxxum/Dynax mount? No, not at all.
Таким образом, мы можем в самое ближайшее время ожидать DSLR Sony с 10-мп APS-C CMOS, режимом EVF (вероятно), системой анти-шейка и байонетом Minolta, отличным видоискателем и, возможно, оптикой от Carl Zeiss
Если по цене и оформлению это будет просумерский аппарат, то это настоящий термояд - возможно, даже больший термояд, чем 5D

KM SEA:
Sony has developed a new sensor for the 9D also the 7D. The 9D will have a mega pix of at least 11-14. 7D will be no les than 8 mega pix.
They will both have anti shake. Regarding full frame on the 9D, yes as it stands right now. As you can appreciate this is no easy task as the sensors need room to move and one can only increase the body so much to accomodate this.
Regarding what I said earlier about KM and Sony developing a DSLR together which will be released under the Sony brand next year. Peter reply is that KM and Sony are only sharing technology. No this is not true. There is a lot more than I am not a liberaty to say.
To end all the speculation here about the 9D with or without anti shake. As I said in an earlier post it will incorporate anti shake, be at least 12 mp and as it stands right now 'full frame'. For example when the groundwork was been laid for the developement 9D in late february 2005 a lot of what was anticipated then for the way the final product would look, operate and time of release has now changed. Regarding pixels amount full frame and released at PMA or photokina. I did mentioned in an earlier thread that the 9D would be released at PMA but I am now hearing down the grapevine it might be delayed till Photokina 2006. One reason for this logic is to see how the replacement for the 7D is accepted at PMA. It all depends what the competitors will be releasing at around the same time that will influence the timiing for the release of the 9D.
Six months is a long time in the DSLR development regarding advancement in chips etc which are superceded every few months. One thing I can confirm is that every KM DSLR that is been developed from now on will have antishake as standard. Let it be a 9D, 8D or 3D.
Т.е., как минимум: 1) Минольта помирать не собирается
, 2) Canon 5D будет не единственным full-frame в своем классе (гутттт!!!!); 3) анти-шейк будет и на полнокадровых, ура!!!
