"It’s -36C in Siberia, but they just call it bracing" (Times Online)

In Novosibirsk, the unofficial capital of Siberia, thermometers were reading minus 33C (-27.4F) yesterday and kindergartens and schools remained open, although children were not required to go out at playtime.

In fact, we call it "freaking cold", but it doesn't stop us ;-)
BTW, actually it was -37C with some wind this morning.
